Grant Street Group Welcomes Mike Ziemianski as New Director of Human Resources

Pittsburgh, PA (May 21, 2014) – Myles Harrington, Grant Street Group President, announced today that Michael Ziemianksi has joined the Company as its new Director of Human Resources.
“This is an important milestone in Grant Street’s history,” said Mr. Harrington. “After crossing the threshold of 125 full-time employees, we really needed someone with Mike’s breadth and depth of experience to help us maintain and enhance our employee-centric culture and benefits as we continue to grow.”
Prior to Grant Street Group, Mr. Ziemianski was the Vice President and Chief Resources Officer for Michael Baker Corporation, a publicly traded civil engineering and infrastructure firm. He has held human resources leadership roles in a variety of industries including Information Technology Consulting, Biotechnology, Medical Device Manufacturing, Health Insurance and State Government. Mr. Ziemianski’s experience includes more than a dozen M&A/Divestiture transactions and managing the organic growth of several technology ventures.
His education includes a B.A. in Philosophy from Saint Vincent College, an M.A. in Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University of PA, an A.S. in Business Management from the Community College of Allegheny County (Boyce Campus) and a C.A.S. in Labor Studies from West Virginia Northern Community College (Wheeling Campus). Mr. Ziemianski also has life accreditation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resources Management.
At Grant Street Group, Mr. Ziemianksi will oversee all aspects of Grant Street Group’s Human Resources department including recruiting, pay and benefits, and training and performance evaluations.
