Grant Street Group announced the successful implementation of TaxSys, a cloud-based suite of integrated tax collection and billing software and services, at the Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office.

Located in the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan area, Seminole County is a rapidly growing community and the 31st County Tax Collector in Florida to transition to TaxSys. The implementation process began in January 2024 and concluded on schedule and within budget after 14 months.

“Getting our tax system replaced was one of our highest priorities,” said J.R. Kroll, Seminole County Tax Collector. “The implementation was a huge undertaking and I am grateful for the hard work of my staff and Grant Street for getting it done. With the modern framework and integration that TaxSys provides, we look forward to operational efficiencies and streamlined services for our customers.”

The implementation also included LienHub® for online tax certificate sales and tax deed applications, VisionPro™ for business intelligence and data analytics, and PaymentExpress®, a comprehensive payment processing solution supporting online and in-person transactions, including credit cards, debit cards, e-checks, and digital payments such as PayPal, Apply Pay, and Google Pay.

“Simply put, J.R. Kroll’s leadership and determination has transformed the Seminole County Tax Collector’s office,” said Ian Yorty, Grant Street’s Chief Business Development Officer. “We are honored he and his team of professionals chose TaxSys and our full suite of integrated products to help accomplish their goals.”
